Drone footage
A drone is the fastest way to show scale. A site, a build or a landscape from the air explains in five seconds what half a minute on the ground cannot. It is also the one part of production governed by aviation rules — and breaking them is a matter for the regulator, not the client.
What we deliver
- Aerial video in 4K including smooth approaches and reveals
- Aerial stills of sites, land and buildings
- Construction progress over time — repeated flights from identical positions
- Aerial coverage of events and sport
- Securing flight permissions and coordinating with the site operator
Where you may fly is settled in advance
Unmanned flight follows common European rules, with Czech limits over built-up areas, near airports and in protected zones. You do not fly freely over people, and flying over private land is agreed with its owner.
Before a date is set we check the airspace, the permits required and whether the aerial shot is feasible at all. If it is not, we say so immediately — that is cheaper than a cancelled shoot.
Weather is part of the plan
Wind, rain and low cloud make a flight impossible or worthless. So we always agree a backup date and schedule flights for favourable light — the hour after sunrise and before sunset.
For sites and buildings there is a practical reason too: a long shadow at two in the afternoon reveals every surface flaw nobody meant to show.
A drone gives you shots, not a film
Aerial shots work as an opener and as a bridge between scenes. A film made entirely of fly-throughs tires the viewer within thirty seconds, because there is no human scale in it.
So drone work is planned alongside the rest of the shoot rather than as a separate item. The ratio that tends to work is one aerial shot to three on the ground.
Frequently asked
- Do we need the permit, or do you arrange it?
- We handle the flight side — operator registration, pilot qualification and notification where required. From the client we need the landowner’s consent and any site-specific rules that apply.
- What if it is windy on the agreed day?
- The flight moves to the backup date agreed when the job is booked. Flying at the edge of the weather limits is pointless — the footage is unstable and the risk falls on both of us.
