Sport
Sport runs on its own clock. A match photo is worth something that evening, not three days later, and a highlights cut has to be finished before the next game. It is also an environment where nothing can be repeated — the decisive moment comes once, and the camera is either there or it is not.
What the sector demands
- Delivery in hours rather than days
- A brief that shifts with the result and with injuries
- Arena lighting that cannot be negotiated with
- Obligations to the club, the federation and partners in a single frame
The selection goes out from the arena
We process a selection as the match runs, so the first photos reach the club before the final whistle. The rest of the gallery follows the next day.
Video works the same way — the short social cut takes priority over the longer record, because that is the one with a shelf life.
Partners belong in frame on purpose
A club has obligations to partners that are fulfilled in pictures. So before the season we know which boards, kits and banners need to appear, and in what proportion.
Without that you end up with a gallery from which only a fraction can be sent to a partner — and delivery gets chased at the last minute.
