What working with us looks like
None of these phases is original. The difference is that none gets skipped — above all pre-production and the archive, the two you cannot make money on and without which the rest falls apart.
Seven steps
Inquiry and first call
You describe the situation, we ask questions. What interests us most is where the result will run and what the viewer should do next — almost everything else follows from that. The call is free and non-binding.
The deliverables list
We close what the shoot must produce: how many videos and at what lengths, which run vertically, whether stills are leaving with the crew too. This list closes before the schedule, because the schedule is derived from it.
Proposed approach and price
You receive scope, dates and price. We also write down what is not included — how many rounds of feedback are covered, who secures the location, what happens if the weather turns.
Pre-production
Script and shooting script with a shot list, casting, locations, permits and a backup date. It is the last point where changes are free — after the shoot, every one means a compromise in the edit or a reshoot.
The shoot day
A plan broken down by the hour, crew allocated by area, and a reserve of roughly ninety minutes a day. In working operations we shoot small and in agreed windows, so filming does not slow you down.
Post-production and feedback
Edit, colour, sound and subtitles. Feedback is collected as one consolidated set per round, ideally timestamped in the review player. Two rounds are included; a third is agreed upfront.
Delivery and archive
A master plus derived versions for every medium it will run on. We hand over the source footage and edit project and keep a backup ourselves — so swapping a price list next year is an afternoon’s work, not a new shoot.
